Encouraging parents to let kids be kids during a session to get authentic shots.

"Parents often worry about their children getting a little dirty or having 'messy' hair during a session. But at Flash Exposure, we believe the dirt on the knees is part of the story.

To get those soulful, unscripted shots, let them explore. Encourage them to pick up a smooth stone, touch the bark of an old oak, or hunt for acorns in the grass. When a child is grounded in discovery, their face lights up with a wonder that no 'cheese' could ever replicate. My job is to capture that miniature world they are discovering—the quiet, small moments that eventually become the biggest memories."
